About Us.

Trombold Equipment Company was formed in 1961 by Tom Trombold and his brother Bob Trombold. The first office was in the heart of Cleveland, Ohio. At the time they represented only one product line, Adamson Tank Company. Other product lines were quickly added which led us to various types of pumping equipment. Tom and Bob expanded the operation to western Pennsylvania and Michigan in the late 60s with offices in Detroit and Pittsburgh.

In 1983 the company was placed into two separate entities. With Bob Trombold in western Pennsylvania, and Tom Trombold in Ohio. This led to the Trombold Equipment Company as we know it today.

Opened the service department

In 1990, Greg Trombold joined the business while a senior at The Ohio State University. The office in Columbus, Ohio, was opened and expanded our reach to central Ohio.

Expanded the service department to include after market service, repair and replacement

Began covering the Cincinnati trading market.

Greg Trombold became the President of Trombold Equipment Company.

Received our first “Million Dollar Club” award from Patterson Pump Co. in recognition of achieving over $1,000.000.00 in fire pump sales that year.

We are proud of our heritage. We have represented many of the same manufacturers since our inception and are continuously expanding our array of products. We strive to give our customers the best service on all of the product lines we represent.
